Natanya Alon, Senior Outreach Manager, Americans for Quality Health Care

Natanya Alon is a Senior Outreach Manager on the Health Care Quality Project at the National Partnership for Women & Families. Funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Health Care Quality Project will work with consumer and labor organizations to promote heath care quality and transparency.

Before joining the National Partnership, Natanya had the joy and challenge of serving as a Public Health Specialist for the American Jewish World Service in Uganda. Natanya provided her host organization with technical assistance focused on reproductive health/family planning. Prior to working in Uganda, she held positions at the National Abortion Federation. As Hotline Director she managed the national information and referral hotline and as Clinicians for Choice Coordinator she organized and provided technical assistance to 6,000 Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Nurse-Midwives, working to increase access to comprehensive reproductive health care.

While serving as Program Manager for the National Association of County and City Health Officials, Natanya developed, implemented, and assessed multiple programs, working closely with health and school officials and members of community organizations to address tobacco prevention, asthma, physical activity and nutrition.

Natanya has an MPH from the Medical College of Virginia, and a BS in Biological Psychology from George Mason, where she graduated with honors.
